It was brilliant, the car was set up with me, and the BMW Car Eye and had been set up and installed as asked. The familiarisation drive was really helpful, as although I had the test drive, it was nice to drive the actual car with someone first.

Tom and James were excellent at sourcing the model with the features I wanted quickly from new stock. This enabled me to get a new car without the build wait. Harry gave a great tour of the car on pick up so I could operate and enjoy the new car.

Since getting my car back I get repeatedly flashed by drivers whilst driving in the dark, they seem to think I have full beam on, never had a issue before the car went on, have emailed to make you aware but no response.

Only issue: some of commentary of under- body inspection incomprehensible. Its wheel rims report seemed to contradict written report. Service adviser opined the written report wrong. Had to pay elsewhere for confirmatory inspection.

Very clear apart from one thing - multiple messages about a vehicle health check. Says one of my tyres is 'red' so that's misleading. It's not illegal, it's just that BMW's standards are higher and that's not made clear until you question it.

The staff at Dick Lovett in both Bristol and Swindon were excellent. Bristol did not have an appointment for some weeks, but were able to book me an appointment in Swindon the next day. Gavin in Swindon was excellent through diagnostics and repairs.

No explanation was given why the brake fluid service is recommended, there was no problem, there was no inspection pre service. No other car, BMW included, has ever needed a brake fluid service, no one I know has ever needed a brake fluid service.
